Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (2 days)

The Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) training course is a two-day, entry-level course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer. The CSM course is designed to cover the basics of the Scrum Framework so you can begin to perform in the Scrum Master role.

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) (2 days)

The Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) course is a two-day, entry-level course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer®. The CSPO course is designed to cover all the basics of Scrum and also provide a large amount of material devoted to the Product Owner role.

Certified Agile Leader (CAL1) (2 days)

The focus of the 2-day Certified Agile Leader course is cultural, with an outlook towards Being Agile. We look at topics such as leadership, organizational structure, culture, and organizational growth. Our focus is long-term sustainable growth from a holistic and integrated perspective.

Professional Scrum Master (2 days)

The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) training is a 2-day agile training course that covers the principles and empirical process theory of Scrum and agility, the Scrum framework itself, and the specific role of the Scrum Master. The PSM class introduces the principles and empirical process theory underpinning the Scrum framework. These are foundational insights upon which the rules and roles of Scrum are explored and discussed. The focus on the Scrum Master role includes advanced thinking tools for servant-­leadership and behavioral shifts, working with people and teams, coaching and facilitation, and scaling Scrum. This Scrum training course includes the fees to complete the PSM I Scrum Assessment.

Professional Scrum Product Owner (2 days)

The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) Workshop is a two-day agile training course that covers the principles of Scrum and agility, the role of the Product Owner, building and sustaining a product vision, and managing a Product Backlog. The Agile workshop dives deep into the role of the Product Owner, going beyond simple product backlog management. This Scrum training course includes the fees to complete the PSPO I Scrum Assessment.

Agile for Practitioners (4 days), Northwestern University

Agile for Practitioners is an in-depth, workshop-style Agile Training course that will teach participants the principles and values of Agile, and help them apply Agile practices and techniques to their current projects. This is a highly interactive, hands-on course that leverages real-world examples from Scrum, Lean, Kanban and other Agile methods. Participants will learn how to estimate in Agile and how to plan  the release, iteration, and daily levels. Participants will work in teams to experience and apply Agile principles to the course exercises and discussions. This course covers the content and will prepare participants for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) agile certification exam.

Leading and Coaching Agile Teams (2 Days), Northwestern University

Agile frameworks empower teams with flexible tools to manage timelines, deliverables, and budgets, and still meet stakeholder needs. Leading and Coaching Agile Teams is an Agile Training course designed specifically for those managers, leaders, Scrum Masters, project managers and others who lead and support agile teams. Participants will learn the mindset, values, and principles that make Agile techniques work for teams. They will also learn some of the key differences between traditional and Agile approaches to delivering solutions. Most important, participants will learn and practice the key leadership and coaching skills needed to support self-organizing Agile teams. Participants will come away with the tools and understanding they need to create an environment for Agile teams to thrive.

Agile Estimating and Planning (2 Days), Northwestern University

Agile Estimating and Planning is an Agile training course designed to prepare you to get agile projects off on solid footing. Planning for Agile projects starts with the big picture of product roadmaps and release plans, and drills down into the work that an Agile team will do within an iteration. Participants will learn how to plan for iterative and incremental solution development and how to address change in a plan. The course also looks at the two types of estimates used on agile projects, relative estimates in story points and absolute estimates in ideal days. Participants will learn when to use each of these, and how to include the entire team for more accurate estimates that team members will support. Finally, participants will learn how to forecast their releases, communicate release dates to stakeholders, and and monitor completion.

Supporting an Agile Transformation (2 Days), Northwestern University

Supporting an Agile Transformation is an Agile Training course designed to provide managers, project managers, agile practitioners and other leaders an understanding of the benefits of Agile and why organizations pursue it, the differences between Agile Adoption and Agile Transformation and how to foster Agile adoption and Agile Transformation. Participants will gain an appreciation for the magnitude of an Agile Transformation and some of the key planning considerations for an Agile Transformation to be successful. The course provides a broad understanding of popular agile methods, how Agile relates to culture, how organizational change succeeds, and some of the patterns that have proven effective when introducing Agile to organizations or leading Agile Transformations. Participants will develop and present their custom agile transformation roadmap and communications tools.
